Women in Freight, Logistics and Marine Scholarship
Scholarship Description
*next round TBA*The Department of Transport offers an annual $10,000 scholarship to a female, full-time or part-time student starting or completing a Masters, PhD, or postgraduate degree in the freight, logistics and/or marine-related fields. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of relevant work experience, academic merit and level of commitment to a career in the freight, logistics and/or marine industries. This award is aimed to encourage women into management positions within these industries. The winner will also be given the opportunity to participate in part-time work at the Department of Transport during the year.
