Women in Freight, Logistics and Marine Scholarship
Scholarship Description
The Department of Transport is offering a $10,000 scholarship to a female full-time or part-time student commencing or completing a PhD, Masters or other postgrad degree in the Freight, Logistics or Marine-related fields. This award is aimed to encourage women into management positions within these industries. The scholarship will be awarded for one year full-time or two years part-time. The funds must be used toward academic expenses - the cost of tuition, reference materials, tools and research-related travel (within Australia). This scholarship is for study in Victoria. The winner will also be given the opportunity to participate in part-time work at the Department of Transport during the year, subject to study constraints.
