Constantine Aspromourgos Memorial Scholarship for Greek Studies
Scholarship Description
This scholarship is offered to Bachelors or Masters graduates of the University of Queensland of not more than five years standing. Applicants must be undertaking a postgraduate program which pertain to at least one area of Greek studies (ancient, Byzantine or modern) in one of the areas listed in Research Field. Applicants must be undertaking the program as a student of another university acceptable to the committee or the University of Qld (provided that some part of the program involves studies at another University.) This scholarship has closed for 2008. 2009 details will be updated later in the year.

The value of this scholarship is AUD4500 (maximum per award). This award is to be used for research and miscellaneous purposes. This scholarship is paid as a one off for the period of 1 year.

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: ECONOMICS, HISTORY AND ARCHAEOLOGY, LANGUAGE AND CULTURE, Other earth sciences, Political science, Religion and religious traditions, SOCIAL SCIENCES, HUMANITIES AND ARTS - GENERAL or STUDIES IN HUMAN SOCIETY.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Australia. There are no restrictions on citizenship. You must have studied at or be currently studying at The University of Queensland.
