Marten Bequest Travelling Scholarships

Scholarship Description

The Marten Bequest Travelling Scholarships provide support for students in a variety of categories to help them further their cultural education and achieve their dreams. They are awarded each year for study, maintenance and travel either in Australia or overseas. In 2009, two Scholarships of AUD$25,000 is offered in each of the following categories: Architecture, Ballet, Instrumental Music, Painting, Sculpture and Singing. Availability

This scholarship is offered annually to 12 people. Open for applications until October 30, 2009.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD25000 (per annum). This award is to be used for travel. This scholarship is paid annually for the period of 1 year.

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Architecture and urban environment, Music, Other arts, Performing arts, THE ARTS or Visual arts and crafts.

Eligibility

You must be between the age of 21 and 35. Only citizens of Australia may apply.
