Industrial Design Studentships

Scholarship Description

About six Industrial Design Studentships are offered each year for selected graduates with a good grounding in engineering or science who wish to develop their capabilities in industrial design. The Commission hopes, by funding these Studentships, to encourage a holistic approach to excellence in product development, in which aesthetic design and engineering both play their full and proper parts. Studentships are open to those who are : British nationals, resident in UK intending to make a career in British Industry; have a good first degree in engineering or science; have obtained admission to a suitable postgraduate course in UK or overseas and who are aged 21-24, but older candidates may apply. This scholarship has closed for 2008. Details for 2009 will be updated later in the year.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is GBP9450 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses and fees. This scholarship is paid annually for the period of 1 year.

This scholarship is for study in any country. You must be over the age of 21. Only citizens of United Kingdom may apply.
