Cassamarca Scholarships for Research in Italy

Scholarship Description

The Australian Foundation for Studies in Italy (AFSI) & the Australian Centre for Italian Studies (ACIS) are offering 3 scholarships of up to $5000 each for Australians wishing to undertake study in Italy next year. These awards are available to full time or part time Honours, Masters by research or PhD scholars engaged in the following areas of Italian studies: archaeology & classical antiquities; language; literature; culture; history; politics & society (inc migration studies). 1 of the awards is made available through the Associazione Sarda del Queensland Inc & preference for this award will be given to a project with a Sardinian component. Successful candidates will have a knowledge of Italian. Interested parties should contact Bianca Galipo to obtain a statement on further particulars, including application instructions. The value of this scholarship is AUD5000 (maximum per award). This award is to be used for research, travel and miscellaneous purposes. This scholarship is paid as a one off.

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: HISTORY AND ARCHAEOLOGY, LANGUAGE AND CULTURE, LAW, JUSTICE AND LAW ENFORCEMENT, PHILOSOPHY AND RELIGION or SOCIAL SCIENCES, HUMANITIES AND ARTS - GENERAL.
