NSV Brain and Mind Scholarship
Scholarship Description
These awards are to encourage graduate research as a viable option in clinical neuroscience and related disciplines by providing support to clinical researchers and allied health professionals at Victorian institutions. The awards will be biased towards original discovery research, to encourage connectivity between the basic and clinical sciences. The Scholarships are transitional awards that will be awarded to students who are clinicians and health science professionals (broadly defined as a person with a history of patient contact and working under a Professional Board) entering PhD or MD degrees. The Scholarships will allow up to one year’s research activities whilst an NHMRC (or equivalent) application is developed. Applications will be accepted from the University of Melbourne, Monash University and Swinburne University on behalf of their most outstanding postgraduate research students newly enrolled, or in the process of enrolling in a relevant program.

The value of this scholarship is AUD25000 (maximum per award). This award is to be used for research and fees. This scholarship is paid See Scheme Summary for the period of 1 year.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Neurosciences. It is required that your study starts no earlier than February 1, 2013 and no later than February 1, 2014.
