Life Sciences Computational PhD Top-up (vlsci)


Scholarship Description

The Victorian Life Sciences Computation Initiative (VLSCI) is providing a limited number of Top-Up Scholarships for graduate research students undertaking research that may be broadly categorised as ‘Life Sciences Computation’. Scholarships are valued at AUD5,000 p.a., and are renewable for the duration of the primary scholarship, subject to an annual review of research progress. Priority will be given to projects that can demonstrate a strong link to the current VLSCI research themes. Successful applicants will be associated with the VLSCI for the duration of their candidature funding, will be expected to participate in VLSCI activities and provide a small number of brief progress reports. *Eligible primary scholarships include: APA, Melbourne Research Scholarship, Endeavour International Postgraduate Research Scholarships, Melbourne International Research Scholarships and other prestigious and major stipend scholarships including Equity and Indigenous scholarships.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD5000 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for miscellaneous purposes. This scholarship is paid fortnightly.
