Scholarship Description

The research project is funded by Arrow Energy Pty Ltd and is directed to the understanding of groundwater processes within the coal seam gas (CSG) setting of the Surat Basin. The specific aim of the study is to define the interface between the Walloon Coal Measures and the overlying alluvial aquifer system of the upper Condamine River, and to use hydrochemistry/isotopes to establish hydrological processes.

This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications from June 7, 2012 until July 31, 2012.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD35000 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for research and living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.
