PhD Scholarships at IMT Lucca
Scholarship Description
Applications are now being accepted for the 2013/14 PhD program at IMT Lucca (www.imtlucca.it). The program is articulated in four main tracks: Computer, Decision and Systems Sciences (CDSS), with thematic curricula in: Computer Science; Control Systems; Image Analysis; Management Science; Economics (ECON); Management and Development of Cultural Heritage (MDCH); Political History (POLHIST). Courses, held in English, are led by world-renowned researchers and provide students with the necessary theoretical skills and advanced tools for rigorously tackling a multitude of analysis, design and management problems. PhD students, besides receiving the standard research scholarship of €13,600/year (amount established by Italian law), are offered on-campus housing and daily access to the canteen. This scholarship is offered annually to 36 people. Open for applications until July 17, 2013.
Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is EUR13600 (per annum). This award is to be used for accommodation, living expenses and fees. This scholarship is paid See Scheme Summary for the period of 3 years.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: ECONOMICS, ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, HISTORY AND ARCHAEOLOGY, INFORMATION, COMPUTING AND COMMUNICATION SCIENCES, POLICY AND POLITICAL SCIENCE, SCIENCE - GENERAL or SOCIAL SCIENCES, HUMANITIES AND ARTS - GENERAL. It is required that your study starts no earlier than November 1, 2013 and no later than November 1, 2016.
