Scholarship Description

Advanced Manufacturing CRC and RMIT have established a project on the electro-discharge machining of PCD (Polycrystalline Diamonds) for a range of industrial cutting tools. As part of the project three PhD student scholarships valued at $27,000 each tax-exempt per year are being offered to self-motivated individuals to join a collaborative research team at the School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering.

Availability

This scholarship is offered dependent on funds to 3 people. Open for applications from January 30, 2012 until February 26, 2012.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD27000 (total amount). This award is to be used for miscellaneous purposes. This scholarship is paid fortnightly.

Research Information

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Classical physics, Electrical and electronic engineering or Manufacturing engineering.

Eligibility

This scholarship requires you to have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent. To apply you must be a student from a remote/rural area. Only citizens of Australia or AUS permanent resident can apply. You must have studied at or be currently studying at an Australian universitynon-Australian institutions.
