Scholarship Description

The awards are open to applicants who qualify for entry to a Masters by Research or PhD degree at Charles Darwin University (CDU). CDU offers Australian Postgraduate Awards which are solely merit based and are available to Australian citizens only (or, in certain circumstances, permanent residents). Research at CDU is designed to take advantage of our unique demographic profile and geographic location. We focus on the people, societies, cultures, economies, institutions and environments of tropical Australia and South East Asia, and the Australian desert. Research foci: Indigenous and Tropical Health & Health Services Delivery; Education & Learning and Education Services Delivery; Environmental, Cultural & Natural Resource Management; Society, Communication & Identity.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD19231 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.

Eligibility

This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia may apply. You must have studied at or be currently studying at Charles Darwin University.
