Understanding the combined effects of herbicides and climate change on tropical seagrass

Scholarship Description

Objective This project aims to quantify the chronic effects and toxic thresholds of herbicides detected in the GBR on seagrass under current and future climate scenarios. The student will work with the supervisors and broader research team to develop experimental work that meets the broader project objectives.

This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications from September 17, 2011 until March 17, 2012.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD22500 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.

Eligibility

This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent, or Honours 2a or equivalent.
