Scholarship Description
An Australian Postgraduate Award Industry (APAI) is available in Minerals and Materials Science & Technology (MMaST), Mawson Institute at the University of South Australia. The PhD program aims to improve understanding of the mechanisms and kinetics of sodium aluminosilicate and titanate scale/particle growth; and to understand the adsorption processes undergone by selected polymeric scale inhibitors onto solid surfaces under simulated single stream processing conditions pertinent to digester heat exchangers in Bayer process.

The value of this scholarship is AUD27651 (per annum). This award is to be used for research. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.

Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent. There are no restrictions on citizenship. AUS permanent resident can apply.
