Scholarship Description

The Fulbright CSIRO Postgraduate Scholarship provides the opportunity for American citizens to undertake 8-12 months postgraduate research with Australia’s leading and largest science research organisation, CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation), working on Australia’s most ambitious scientific research program, the National Research Flagships.There are ten National Research Flagships in the following areas that are open to Fulbright applicants:Climate Adaptation, Energy Transformed, Food Futures, Light Metals, Minerals Down Under, Future Manufacturing Flagship, Preventative Health, Water for a Healthy Country, Wealth from Oceans, Sustainable Agriculture,

This scholarship is offered annually to 15 people. Open for applications from May 1, 2011 until October 17, 2011.

Payment Information

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: AGRICULTURAL, VETERINARY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES, BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES, CHEMICAL SCIENCES, EARTH SCIENCES, ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES, PHYSICAL SCIENCES or SCIENCE - GENERAL.
