Scholarship Description

APPLICATION CLOSED FOR 2008. DETAILS TO BE CONFIRMED LATE 2008. This scholarship is normally available to assist students of Italian language or literature of the University of Melbourne to pursue their studies in these fields at an approved Italian university or institution. The spirit of this award is not for short intensive language courses. Applicants should be enrolled students of the Italian section of the Dept of French and Italian Studies at the Univ of Melb. One or more scholarships may be awarded annually. The tenure is normally 1 year. BA (Hons), BLetters, Dip of Modern Languages, Dip of Arts, Grad/PostGrad Diplom in Arts, Masters and PhD students encuraged to apply. There is no formal app form. Send 5 copies of applications (no more than 4 pages in total) including: CV, academic record, details of proposed program of study in Italy, acces to other financial support, proposed use of the award funds and 2 academic referee reports to the faculty contact below.

The value of this scholarship is AUD15000 (total amount). This award is to be used for travel. This scholarship is paid annually for the period of 1 year.

This scholarship is for study in Italy. There are no restrictions on citizenship. You must have studied at or be currently studying at The University of Melbourne.
