Scholarship Description

Any domestic students commencing a PhD within the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science who have previously completed a relevant degree from an eligible university with 1st class honours (or equivalent) are guaranteed admission and a scholarship (subject to supervision being available).

Availability

This scholarship is offered on an ongoing basis to 99 people. Open for applications from January 1, 2010 until December 31, 2010.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD22500 (minimum per award). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of up to 3 and a half years.

Research Information

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY or INFORMATION, COMPUTING AND COMMUNICATION SCIENCES. It is required that your study starts no earlier than January 1, 2010 and no later than March 31, 2011.

Eligibility

This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia or New Zealand or AUS permanent resident can apply.
