Scholarship Description
An exciting opportunity exists for a doctoral student to participate in an important national research project that investigates innovative health service and professional practice in primary and community health care settings. The focus of the research is on the complex inter-relationships that exist between learning, workplaces, technologies and practice. The research will ensure you a nationally important thesis topic and the opportunity to work as part of an experienced inter-disciplinary and international team. Your research will have a particular focus on the role of information and social technologies in health service and practice redesign. You will be working with a research team with expertise in health, workplace learning, technology and design and emerging technologies. A major government health service provider is the industry partner. The experience will build your research capabilities and position you within an area of national and international research significance.

Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD26669 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES. It is required that your study starts no earlier than January 24, 2011 and no later than February 28, 2011.
