PhD To-Up Scholarships in Cancer Immunology
Scholarship Description
The Centre for Immune and Targeted Therapy (CITT) is a unique, collaborative research centre in which basic and clinical research into the treatment of cancer is integrated into state-of-the-art, private sector cancer care. Based at the University of Queensland Medical School facilities in the Gallipoli Medical Research Centre at Greenslopes Private Hospital, successful applicants will be supervised by leading cancer specialists undertaking trials of new cancer treatments. We are seeking dynamic, intelligent, highly motivated PhD candidates with either a clinical or a basic science background. Applicants should possess, a First Class Honours degree in Immunology, Biotechnology or a related discipline (or a Masters of Biotechnology or equivalent) or a medical degree and either hold or expect to receive an Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) or similar scholarship. Successful applicants with an APA will receive a tax-free stipend of $10,000 per annum in addition to their APA.

Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD10000 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of up to 3 and a half years.
