University of Melbourne: PhD in the evolution of employment services policy and delivery


Scholarship Description

We are seeking a highly motivated student with an interest and/or expertise in one or more of the following fields: public policy; social policy; local governance; employment services; social enterprise; the role of the state; citizen’s rights; and contracting-out, to apply for a PhD scholarship on an Australian Research Council (ARC) funded Linkage study into the evolution of employment services policy and delivery in Australia, the UK and the Netherlands. You should have an understanding of social science research networks and with demonstrable research skills and writing experience. See attachment for details.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD30000 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Policy and administration, POLICY AND POLITICAL SCIENCE or SOCIAL SCIENCES, HUMANITIES AND ARTS - GENERAL.

Eligibility

This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent, Honours 2a or equivalent, or Masters or equivalent. There are no restrictions on citizenship.
