Lincoln University (NZ) Research Scholarship - Mathematical Modelling
Scholarship Description
Lincoln University is seeking a Masters of Applied Science or PhD level research student to assist with modelling the physics of a new food preservation process as part of a major new initiative in food science. The successful candidate will have a background in Engineering, Physics or Mathematics, an excellent academic record and good mathematical modelling capability. The student will also be required to carry out experiments to set up the modelling parameters and test the theory under development, hence knowledge and experience in processing food or biochemical products would be an advantage. MSc - $25,000 for 1 year including fees; PhD - Max. $30,000 p.a for up to 3 years including fees. Send expressions of interest, to Katrina Wilke: katrina.wilke@lincoln.ac.nz. Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is NZD25000 (total may vary). This award is to be used for living expenses and fees. This scholarship is paid in Two (2) Payments for the period of 2 years if masters or 3 years if PhD.
