Scholarship Description
The aim of the research is to improve the understanding of the mechanisms of cerebral aneurysm formation, growth and rupture by means of hemodynamics and molecular biomarkers.PhD candidates will focus on the investigation of clinical image segmentation transformation, hemodynamic numerical development and biological modeling.Candidates must hold a Masters degree, or equivalent, in relevant disciplines, viz. engineering, mathematics, or bioengineering. Candidates must have a strong background in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) or computer graphics knowledge of programming and application capability or biomedical engineering experiment or biological experiment capability.

The value of this scholarship is AUD22860 (per annum). This award is to be used for research, living expenses and fees. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 and a half years.
