Scholarship Description
A full-time PhD scholarship is available in the Department of Biological Sciences at Macquarie University. In consultation with the primary supervisor candidates may elect to undertake research on one of the following 3 projects: Project 1: Phytoplankton characterisation and survey of the Coffs Harbour region, Eastern Australia. Project 2: Decadal variability in Subantarctic phytoplankton and biochemical records. Project 3: Antarctic palaeo sea ice: Modernising diatom-based sea-ice estimation time-series statistics. This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications until November 1, 2010.
Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD22500 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for research, living expenses and fees. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 and a half years.
