MQ Security in Virtual Machine based Systems
Scholarship Description
A Macquarie University Research Excellence Scholarship (MQRES) is available in the Department of Computing associated with successful ARC Discovery Project 1094757 'Security in Virtual Machine based System' to be taken up by end 2011. The project involves developing a policy based secure virtual machine model to specify and control access and information flow between virtual machines within a machine and between virtual machines in different physical machines, and enhanced with trusted computing. A background in Operating Systems is essential. Prospective applicants should, in the first instance, make contact with the principal supervisor, Prof Vijay Varadharajan. Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD22860 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for research, living expenses and fees. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 and a half years.
