Scholarship Description

This research aims to enhance the capabilities of advanced water treatment plant designers and operators to control the disinfection by product N-nitrosamines by optimised reverse osmosis treatment. Factors influencing the removal of N-nitrosamines by reverse osmosis membranes will be systematically elucidated. The outcomes of the research will allow for enhanced process efficiency, particularly with respect to N-nitrosamine removal.

This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications from March 30, 2010 until July 1, 2010.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD32222 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.

Research Information

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Environmental engineering. It is required that your study starts no earlier than April 1, 2010 and no later than July 1, 2010.

Eligibility

This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia or New Zealand or AUS permanent resident can apply.
