Essendon Football Club PhD Scholarship
Scholarship Description
Essendon Football Club (EFC) and University of Ballarat (UB) are offering a tax-free PhD Scholarship of at least $30,000 per annum for 3 years. The research project will focus on exploring the link between sport and community development under the supervision of Professor Warren Payne. The successful candidate will be located at both UB and within EFC’s Community Department at various stages of the scholarship.

Availability
This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications from February 23, 2010 until March 22, 2010.
Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD30000 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Human movement and sports science. It is required that your study starts no earlier than March 22, 2010.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent, Honours 2a or equivalent, or Masters or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia or New Zealand or AUS permanent resident can apply.
