Scholarship Description

We plant to use a combination of population genetic (using AFLP or microsatellite markers) and demographic surveys to identify plant populations that may benefit from genetic enhancement via pollen additions.

This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications from February 22, 2010 until March 5, 2010.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD27222 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.

Research Information

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES or Botany. It is required that your study starts no earlier than March 5, 2010 and no later than April 5, 2010.

Eligibility

This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 2a or equivalent. There are no restrictions on citizenship.
