Scholarship Description
A Macquarie University Research Excellence (MQRES) scholarship is available for a PhD study in association with an Australian Research Council-funded research project, investigating the increase in diagnosis of special educational needs in New South Wales government schools. Research will focus on the experience and perceptions of 24 parents of children with a diagnosed disability: how parents made the decision to enrol their child in the setting that the did, what options they felt they had at the time, what events led to their child being diagnosed with a disability eligible for support funding and how they feel with that conceptualisation of their child. Prospective applicants should, in the first instance, submit a cover letter detailing relevant experience, a CV and an academic transcript to the principal supervisor, Dr. Linda Graham. Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD22500 (per annum). This award is to be used for research, living expenses and fees. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 and a half years.

Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent.
