Scholarship Description
undertake research into the recharging patterns of electric vehicles and recharging behaviour of EV owners. The primary aims of the project are to model and understand driver behaviour and movement patterns for range-restricted electric vehicles (EVs), as well as typical recharging patterns and the effects of larger numbers of EVs on the electricity grid. The project will involve the installation of a number of electric vehicle (EV) recharging stations in Perth and monitoring recharging and vehicles using data loggers in order to model and understand driver behaviour, movement patterns for range-restricted EVs and typical recharging patterns. The value of this scholarship is AUD27222 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.
