Imaging Genomics in Psychosis

Scholarship Description

This PhD scholarship within the UNSW Faculty of Medicine will support research within the emerging field of imaging genomics applied to psychosis spectrum conditions. The primary aim of the project is to investigate shared genetic vulnerability to schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, using functional magnetic resonance imaging data to delineate neurocognitive phenotypes for genetic investigation. Additional projects affording further opportunity in imaging genomics will also be available.

This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications from January 22, 2010 until November 1, 2010.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD22400 (per annum). This award is to be used for research. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of up to 3 and a half years.
