Processing of Australia Laterite

Scholarship Description

Stipend: $26,669 p.a. (tax free), plus top-up provided by CSIRO Minerals Division PhD projects will undertake research within the ARC Discovery Project “A Novel Approach to Processing of Australian Laterite Ores through Selective Reduction and Carbonylation” in collaboration with Minerals Down Under National Research Flagship (CSIRO). PhD projects will study (1) selective reduction of laterite ores, and (2) carbonylation of nickel, cobalt and iron. Students with a Bachelor or Masters degree in chemical/metallurgical/materials engineering or chemistry are encouraged to apply. Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD26669 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of up to 3 and a half years.
