Scholarship Description

Disinvestment from relatively ineffective health care practices, cost-effectiveness as a decision aid for the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee, direct marketing of tests to consumers, incorporation of community perspectives into formal health technology assessments, 'disease mongering' in applications for reimbursement for healthcare interventions, health technologies for indigenous Australians, early alert systems for public health interventions to underpin health goals & targets, policy impact of health technology assessment & challenges associated with the introduction of composite technologies.

This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications from October 30, 2009 until December 18, 2009.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD26000 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 and a half years.

Eligibility

This scholarship requires you to have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent, or Honours 2a or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia or permanent residents can apply.
