Scholarship Description

The Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship (Vanier CGS) was created to attract and retain world-class doctoral students and to brand Canada as a global centre of excellence in research and higher learning. It is worth $50,000 per year for three years and is available to both Canadian and international PhD students studying at Canadian universities. See website for application details. Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is CAD50000 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid in Two (2) Payments for the period of 3 years.

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, SCIENCE - GENERAL or SOCIAL SCIENCES, HUMANITIES AND ARTS - GENERAL.

Eligibility

This scholarship is for study in Canada for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent, or Masters or equivalent. There are no restrictions on citizenship.
