Scholarship Description

* Next round TBA (the last round closed 25/11/11)The scholarships are for undergraduate or postgraduate students undertaking degree or diploma courses in forestry, forest science or wood science. Criteria for the awards include commitment to the fields of forestry and forest products through academic and professional achievements and career goals. Satisfactory progress in respective courses is a condition of the scholarship.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD5000 (per annum). This award is to be used for accommodation, research, living expenses, travel and fees. This scholarship is paid bi-annually for the period of 3 years, reviewed annually.

Research Information

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: AGRICULTURAL, VETERINARY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES, BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES, CHEMICAL SCIENCES, ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY or PHYSICAL SCIENCES.

Eligibility

To apply you must be a student from a remote/rural area. There are no restrictions on citizenship. AUS permanent resident can apply.
