Gudaga scholarship

Scholarship Description

We are seeking a student interested in undertaking masters by research or PhD. We would strongly encourage students of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander origins. The successful person would work closely with the Gudaga Research Team to undertake a project of relevance to the cohort study. The Gudaga Study is an NHMRC funded birth cohort study of Aboriginal children who reside in the Campbelltown area of south west Sydney. The Study is describing the health, development, and health and other services use of participating Aboriginal children and their families. Aboriginal children were recruited at birth and will be followed up to five years of age. The Gudaga Research Team is a multidisciplinary group of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal researchers at the University and health workers and managers employed by the area health service and Tharawal Aboriginal Corporation. This is an exciting opportunity for a PhD/research masters candidate in an Urban Environment.
