Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds PhD Fellowships & Travel Grants to research in Europe

Scholarship Description

The Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds promotes basic research in biomedicine and supports students from overseas working in Europe. It supports researchers and projects aimed to experimentally elucidate basic phenomena of human life and pays particular attention to the promotion of junior scientists. The Foundation awards long-term fellowships to PhD students. It grants travel grants to PhD students and post-doctoral scientists to enable them to participate in short-term practicals in laboratories further afield or in scientific courses, e.g. summer or winter schools. PhD applicants submitted by one of the respective deadlines of each year :1 February, 1 June, 1 October. Applications for travel grants may be submitted at any time. See website for details.
