Melbourne University Dr Sue Newton Travelling Scholarship

Scholarship Description
Dr. Sue Newton was a highly respected and recognised Research Scientist, Head of them Molecular Vaccines Department in the former Victorian Institute of Animal Science, and a Visiting Research Fellow of the Faculty of Veterinary Science of the University of Melbourne, when she died tragically and unexpectedly in March 2003. In her memory, a fund has been established to assist vet science PhD students for travel to enhance their research aligned to the fields of parasitology, microchemistry, molecular biology or innovation in science with an emphasis on fundamental science.
