Postgraduate Community Aged Care Nursing Scholarship
Scholarship Description
The Postgraduate Community Aged Care Nursing Scholarship Scheme is an Australian Government initiative aimed at increasing the skills of Registered/Division 1 nurses working in the community aged care sector. The Scholarship Scheme is funded by the Australian Government, as represented by the Department of Health and Ageing, and administered by Royal College of Nursing, Australia (RCNA). Scholarships are not awarded on academic success; rather it is hoped that recipients will make a significant contribution to community aged care. For applicants undertaking or intending to undertake tertiary level postgraduate nursing study at an Australian University the scholarship for full time study will be $5,000 per six months up to a maximum of $10,000 for one year (twelve months) only.
