University of Melbourne Beaney Scholarship in surgery

Scholarship Description

This scholarship is to support students undertaking postgraduate study in surgery.The Heads of the Departments of Surgery, Austin/Northern Health, Royal Melbourne Hospital/Western Health, and St Vincent's Hospital recommend eligible applicants to the Faculty Research Training Committee chaired by the Associate Dean (Research Training). The committee will select the recipient based on academic merit. This scholarship is awarded to the highest ranked, research higher degree student of a department of surgery of the Faculty in each year's scholarship round as judged by the Heads of Surgery of the Faculty.
