The QIMR is offering generous laboratory-based PhD awards to encourage outstanding science graduates to join the Institute and carry out their postgraduate doctoral study in one of the research areas listed below. Genetics and Population Health, Vaccines and Immunity, Cancer and Cell Biology,Infectious Disease and Biological Control. The value of this scholarship is AUD10000 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years, reviewed annually.

Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent. AUS permanent resident can apply.
