Ozone Science Top-Up Scholarship

Scholarship Description

*Next round TBA* (last round closed 17/02/12) The Postgraduate Top-Up Scholarship for Ozone Science, offered by the Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities, is a partial scholarship for postgraduate research into the science of stratospheric ozone depletion and recovery, including linkages with climate change science. This scholarship is intended to supplement an APA or equivalent for study undertaken at an Australian university. This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: • Ozone depleting substances • Climate change linkages to ozone science • Ozone depletion • Effects on human health from ozone depletion • Ozone lay. To be eligible a student must: 1. be in their first year of doctoral research 2. be undertaking studies at an Australian university 3. have been awarded an Australian Postgraduate Award or equivalent 4. submit an application consistent with the published guidelines.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD5000 (per annum). This award is to be used for accommodation, research, living expenses, travel and fees. This scholarship is paid as a one off for the period of 3 years.

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Atmospheric sciences, EARTH SCIENCES, Other earth sciences, PHYSICAL SCIENCES or SCIENCE - GENERAL.

Eligibility

This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved 1st year doctoral research. You must have studied at or be currently studying at an Australian university.
