American Australian Association- APSA Congressional Fellowship
Scholarship Description
Founded in 1953, the APSA Congressional Fellowship Program is the US’s oldest and most prestigious congressional fellowship. For nine months, a select political scientist, journalist, federal executive or an international scholar will gain hands on understanding of the legislative process by serving on congressional staffs. The program starts each year in November with a three-week intensive orientation on the legislative process and current congressional affairs. Fellows begin their office assignments on Capitol Hill in December. Enrichment opportunities are offered throughout the program to deepen the learning experience.
