CanDo4Kids PhD Scholarship in Disorders of Auditory Processing
Scholarship Description
CanDoForKids wishes to support PhD students in research in two areas: outcomes for children and their families following the diagnosis of APD and outcomes as a result of therapy/interventions. APD is receiving increasing recognition as a significant disorder, not only of childhood, which typically affects the development of communication skills and impedes academic success. Few studies have addressed the important issue of outcomes for this disorder generally and the outcomes of specific interventions. There are a number of possible PhD projects within the outcomes focus of the research and it is expected that they will be able to be addressed by both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
