Health Economics Research Scholarship
Scholarship Description
Are you interested in making a difference in health care? We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and forward thinking graduate to join our expanding Health Economics Research Team within the Centre for Clinical Change and Health Care Research, Flinders University based at the Repatriation General Hospital. One scholarship is available for an economist or psychologist with an interest in health to undertake a PhD in the measurement and valuation of health outcomes/health related quality of life for transition care in the elderly. This scholarship will provide a tax free stipend for up to 3 years of $25,000 - $29,753 pa (2008 rate) for full time study, depending on qualifications.

Availability
This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications from October 1, 2008 until October 31, 2008.
Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD25000 (minimum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses and fees. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Public health and health services. It is required that your study starts no earlier than January 1, 2009 and no later than March 31, 2009.
Eligibility
This scholarship requires you to have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent, or Honours 2a or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia may apply.
