Scholarship Description

The Department of Medicine, St Vincent’s offer two Graduate Research Scholarships annually, valued at $5000 each and payable for three years study, to provide valuable financial support to outstanding students commencing their PhD studies through the Department. This award is contingent upon the applicant successfully obtaining a PhD stipend Scholarship, and will be paid as a top-up provision to the stipend. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of the applicant’s academic excellent and research potential. Applicants must enrol through the Dept of Med, St Vincent’s campus. Graduate research students enrolling through the Department of Medicine, St Vincent’s may be eligible to apply for $10,000 through the John Hayden Research Scholarship, Gordon Taylor Scholarship and the Carl de Gruchy Postgraduate Scholarship.
