Scholarship Description
Essendon Football Club and the School of Human Movement and Sport Sciences, University of Ballarat are seeking outstanding candidates to apply for a tax-free Scholarship of at least $25K per annum for 3 years to commence 2009. Bonus scholarship payments are available each year on the successful completion of milestones aligned to the PhD program. The successful candidate will be based at the Essendon Football Club and undertake research in one of the EFC-UB High Performance Alignment priority areas: Physiology/Conditioning; Skill Acquisition; Performance Analysis. This scholarship is offered dependent on funds to one person. Open for applications from September 9, 2008 until October 31, 2008.
Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD25000 (maximum per award). This award is to be used for research and fees. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Human movement and sports science. It is required that your study starts no earlier than December 31, 2008.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia or permanent residents can apply.
