FFI CRC General Scholarships

Scholarship Description

The FFI CRC is calling for applications for a range of scholarships to commence in 2009. Fields of Research in which we have an interest are New Animal and Plant Production systems including Forestry, Biodiversity, Rural Sociology, Applied Economics and Earth Sciences. Availability

This scholarship is offered annually to 10 people. Open for applications from September 1, 2008 until October 31, 2008.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD28000 (per annum). This award is to be used for research. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.

Research Information

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: AGRICULTURAL, VETERINARY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES, Animal production, Applied economics, Crop and pasture production, Environmental sciences, Forestry sciences, Hydrology, Sociology or Soil and water sciences. It is required that your study starts no earlier than February 2, 2009 and no later than December 31, 2011.

Eligibility

This scholarship requires you to have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia or New Zealand or permanent residents can apply.
