Scholarship Description

The AWMC has recently obtained a large Linkage Project grant from the Australian Research Council to study the management of corrosion and odour problems in sewer systems. Corrosion and odour emissions from sewer systems incur massive costs in Australia. We will perform the most comprehensive, in-depth study to date on the understanding and abatement of corrosion and odour problems in sewers, utilising the world-leading expertise provided by both research and industry partners. Highly motivated PhD candidates with a strong academic background and/or professional experience in chemical engineering, environmental engineering, chemical sciences, modelling, biotechnology, or microbial sciences are invited to apply for these scholarships. Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD31600 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 and a half years.
