APA(I) - Strategic Dynamics that Shape Australia's Choices in Nuclear Policy
Scholarship Description
A PhD scholarship is available to undertake full-time study in the School of Political and International Studies as part of an ARC Linkage Project, “Australia’s Nuclear Choices”. This project studies the interactions between the international demand for civilian nuclear energy, the strategic impact of the spread of nuclear weapons and the pressures on the nuclear non-proliferation regime with an eye to their combined implications for Australian policy. Applicants will need to propose a topic working across one or more of these dynamics and their policy implications for Australia.

Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD26140 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses and fees. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: POLICY AND POLITICAL SCIENCE. It is required that your study starts no earlier than November 15, 2008 and no later than March 31, 2009.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent, or Honours 2a or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia may apply.
