Scholarship Description

The Gritton Scholarships are awarded to candidates enrolling full time in a higher degree by research and are intended to promote the knowledge and study of chemistry in relation to industry and agriculture, including chemistry connected with electrical engineering, metallurgical chemistry and chemistry in its application to mining and the winning treatment of minerals and natural products of the soil. They are open to graduates of universities who are members of the Association of Commonwealth Universities, graduates of any country who are citizens of a Commonwealth country or Australian permanent residents. Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD23728 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 2 years if masters or 3 years if PhD.

Eligibility

This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia or commonwealth countries or AUS permanent resident can apply.
