A PhD student will study the effects of gaseous hydrogen on the microstructure and properties of pipeline steels using mechanical testing, neutron diffraction and modelling.

The value of this scholarship is AUD30627 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.

This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 2a or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia or New Zealand or permanent residents can apply.
